See you next year, Milkyway ππ»
End of June I embarked on a solo astro trip to Colorado thanks to @aeroplan (not sponsored).
On my last night, I wanted to venture into a darker area I spotted. I drove south from Gunnison for about 2 hours and reached Lake city. Although it's called a city, it's actually a town with less than 400 people. The area was so dark, I was so anxious to be just outside and to take some photos and stargaze. I spent my night near a lake taking photos with 2 different cameras, then around 1 am I drove back towards Gunnison to sleep before catching my flight. On the way I couldn't resist stopping on the side of the road because the Milkyway was so bright, I was seeing it while driving. This actually 2 shots, aligned and stacked to have less noise in the picture, I hope you guys like it.
Tell me something, when was the last time you traveled solo? I want to hear your stories, leave me a comment π
