The night is our playground.
⚠️ Possible side effects: a phone full of incredible photos, a sense of inner peace, and the sudden urge to tell everyone about the cosmos.
Zenderfull’s story
In 2016, I left Lebanon to settle in Quebec. I was looking for one specific thing: a group of like-minded people to explore Quebec's outdoors at night.
I met astronomers, photographers, sky lovers — but no one was offering guided night experiences. The need was there, the offer wasn't. So I launched Zenderfull in 2020.
The idea: to help people reconnect with the night sky, and meet others around an experience that takes them out of the everyday.
In 2021, I bought Chalet Zenderfull, in the heart of the world's first International Dark Sky Reserve — just minutes from Mont-Mégantic National Park. A place where you can hear coyotes at night and see the Milky Way with the naked eye.
Since then, we've built partnerships with Mont-Mégantic, Mont-Tremblant, PENS Sutton, MTL Hiking, and many other exceptional places across Quebec.
— Samer
When you look up at night, you're looking into the past. The light from the Milky Way left its source thousands — sometimes millions — of years ago. When it reaches us, we become, for a moment, connected to something much bigger than ourselves.
We live in a world where we look at our screens more often than at the sky. But something shifts when you step away from the city lights and let your eyes adjust to the dark. You hear differently. You breathe differently. Conversations change.
I've seen people cry and shout at the sight of their first Milky Way or their first aurora. I've seen couples rediscover each other under a meteor shower. I've seen people ask questions no one had ever heard them ask before.
It's not magic. We've just forgotten to look up.
My goal with Zenderfull hasn't changed since day one: to give you those moments. A night where you reconnect — to the sky, to nature, and to each other.
Wishing you clear skies, Samer Hobeika, Founder, Zenderfull
